Vanilla Rum Lemonade
Ingredients
- 2 oz dark rum
- 3 oz fresh lemonade
- ½ oz simple syrup (optional)
- Sprig of fresh mint
- Lemon slice
How to build it
Build over ice in a tall glass. Add rum, pour lemonade over. Taste — if your lemonade is already sweet, skip the syrup. Slap the mint sprig against your palm to wake up the oils and drop it in. The vanilla in the rum plays perfectly against bright citrus acid. Easy to batch for parties: 1 bottle rum to 1.5 liters fresh lemonade.
