The Brand Behind the Feeling

People use “tropical vibes” to describe a feeling: warmth, flavor, color, music, hospitality, travel, and ease. We built Tropical Vibes around that feeling.

The brand started with rum because rum was the right first expression of the idea. It has warmth, history, flavor, and a natural connection to cocktails, food, music, travel, and good hospitality. But the bigger idea has always been more than the bottle.

Tropical Vibes is our take on elevated tropical living: grown-up, flavorful, relaxed, and never confused with cheap resort clichés.

Tropical Vibes has earned attention for both the rum and the brand behind it.

Our 5-Year Aged Dark Rum received a Silver Award at the WSWA Wine & Spirits Tasting Competition, giving the product industry recognition in a crowded category. The brand has also been featured by NPR, How I Built This with Guy Raz, Jacksonville Magazine, ABC, and other media outlets.

That recognition matters because Tropical Vibes was never built to be another forgettable bottle on the shelf. The rum is the first proof point for a larger brand rooted in flavor, hospitality, and elevated tropical living.

Built to Go Beyond the Bottle

Tropical Vibes started with 5-Year Aged Dark Rum, but the brand was never meant to stop there.

The phrase “tropical vibes” already shows up across restaurants, bars, hotels, cocktails, interiors, travel, entertaining, and hospitality because people instantly understand the feeling. Our job is to build the brand version of that feeling: more flavor, more warmth, more ease, and a more grown-up take on tropical living.

That creates room for Tropical Vibes to grow through the right licensing partnerships, retail collaborations, hospitality moments, food and beverage extensions, home and entertaining products, and other brand-aligned opportunities. The goal is not to put our name on everything. The goal is to build a larger tropical lifestyle platform with taste, discipline, and commercial value.
