Rum Buck
Ingredients
- 2 oz dark rum
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
- 4 oz ginger ale (not beer)
- Lemon twist
How to build it
Add rum and lemon juice to an ice-filled highball. Top with ginger ale — not ginger beer, the lighter carbonation is intentional here. Express a lemon twist over the glass and drop it in. This is lighter and more delicate than the Ginger Storm above — the ginger ale lets your rum's vanilla and caramel really come forward without fighting it.
