We all know that coral reefs are in trouble. Climate change, overfishing, pollution, and other human activities have left these delicate ecosystems on the brink of collapse. But there is still hope. Coral reef restoration projects are working to replant and restore these vital habitats. And we're proud to support their efforts.

Why coral reefs? First, because they matter. Coral reefs provide a home for millions of species, they help to protect our coastlines from storms, and they are a vital source of food and income for millions of people around the world.

Second, coral reefs are a uniquely, tropical ecosystem. Corals are found across the world’s ocean, in both shallow and deep water, but reef-building corals are only found in shallow tropical and subtropical waters. For our science-y friends, this is because the algae found in their tissues need light for photosynthesis and they prefer water temperatures between 70-85°F (22-29°C). For our non-science-y types, this means they like warm, clear water, just like our team here at Tropical Vibes.

So that's why coral reefs are important to us, and we're committed to doing our part to help them recover.

Stay tuned for regular updates on our commitment to coral reef restoration and how you can help us preserve this incredible ecosystem for future generations.
